Moroccan 6 Day Tour From Marrakech Desert

We will accompany you from Marrakech at 8:30 AM for an authentic and responsible adventure through southern Morocco. Our first stop will be at an argan oil cooperative run by Berber women, where you will discover the secrets of this southern Moroccan treasure.

Next, we will continue our journey to the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its remarkable pise architecture nestled in the heart of authentic Morocco. After a traditional lunch in Aït Benhaddou, you will explore the Dades Valley while traveling along the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

We will spend the night in Boutaghrar, where you will be warmly welcomed by local Berber inhabitants in an authentic and peaceful setting, offering an immersive experience of Berber culture and the tranquil ambiance of southern Morocco.

Today, we take advantage of the day to go hiking in the Rose Valley, accompanied by mules to carry the luggage. You will discover the beauty of this valley, nestled between mountains and Berber villages. This day offers a full immersion into the local way of life, where exchanges and sharing are part of the experience.

Return to Boutaghrar for a peaceful night at the guesthouse, in the authenticity of southern Morocco.

After breakfast, we continue our 6-day tour in the Moroccan desert, a unique travel experience in the Sahara and in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara. On the way to M’hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, which serves as the starting point for an adventure in the Sahara and the Moroccan desert.

Along the way, we cross the magnificent Draa Valley, famous for its Moroccan kasbahs and lush palm groves. You will be able to admire the spectacular landscapes of the Moroccan desert throughout this journey in the Sahara. A lunch break will be taken in Zagora, an iconic city in southern Morocco, known for its green pottery and its history linked to the Moroccan desert.

We then continue to Tamgroute, renowned for its handcrafted green pottery and its ancient Qur'anic library, before arriving in M’hamid, the Sahara’s gateway. There, you will be welcomed into a comfortable bivouac to experience your first night in the Moroccan desert, during this 6-day Sahara tour.

After a breakfast under the blue Saharan sky, we will set out to explore M’hamid, an ancient Berber village rich in history. We will then continue by 4x4 to reach the Erg Chegaga dunes, where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset over the vast dunes.
In the evening, we will share a traditional meal around the fire, under the stars, in a comfortable bivouac. It will be a warm and convivial evening, at the heart of the Sahara.

Today, we share with you a true nomadic experience riding camels through the heart of the vast Erg Chegaga dunes. Together, we will move at the desert’s pace, just like ancient caravanners.
In the shade of tamarisks, we will take a break for a traditional lunch, where you will discover how Sahara nomads prepare the famous sand bread, baked under embers.
Return to the bivouac for another night under the starry sky of the Moroccan desert, with an evening of nomadic songs and stories.

 After a final wake-up in the heart of the dunes, we set out again with you, crossing the wild landscapes of the Moroccan Sahara. In a 4x4, we pass through the dried-up Iriqui Lake, then head to Foum Zguid before stopping for lunch in Taznakht, a village renowned for its Berber rugs.
This 6-day Sahara Tour continues in the afternoon as we drive back together to Marrakech, crossing the magnificent landscapes of the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
We will arrive in the city at the end of the day, enriched by this authentic and Saharan human experience, shared at the pace of southern Morocco.
