Day 1 : Mhamid - Erg Chegaga - Moroccan Desert
Departure in the early afternoon from Mhamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, heading towards the majestic Erg Chegaga dunes.Along the way, we traverse the three iconic landscapes of the Moroccan Sahara: the Reg (stone plateau), the Hamada (rocky desert), and finally the Erg (sand dunes).We take a break at the Oum Lâalag oasis, a true haven of freshness in the heart of the desert.Upon arrival at the Erg Chegaga camp, camels await us for a one-hour ride, perfect for admiring the sunset over the golden dunes.In the evening, we enjoy dinner around the fire accompanied by the rhythm of traditional nomadic music. We will spend the night in comfortable tents at the camp.
Day 2 : Moroccan Desert - Mhamid
After breakfast at the camp in the Moroccan desert, we take the sandy track to return to the village of Mhamid, enjoying the desert landscapes of the Sahara one last time.
